About a week before Planetshakers conference this year we launched a new online blog site for Planetshakers, titled ‘PLANETSHAKERS::LIVE’.

The site is used as an online source for all the latest news and info from Planetshakers. During this years conference the site was constantly updated each day with new posts. Delegates checked the site on their phone and laptop while people who couldn’t make the conference stayed in the loop from home.

I designed the artwork and layout for the site and then passed on to Aaron who coded and customized it to work within Wordpress.

At the end of last year I finished redesigning the Planetshakers homepage.
The new look went live on new years day.
This is the first stage in slowly redesigning the whole site.. among other projects =)

The new design was also recently featured on BestChristian.Design!

Along with the invites I quickly designed a website to celebrate this grand occasion! =)

planetshakers 2009: opening shoot

Going through the photos on my iPhone, I found a few shots from the shoot we did for the opening of Planetshakers Conference 2009.

There was three parts to the opening. The footage we shot was for part two – a video played to set up the characters in part three’s dance/drama. Took us a day at four locations to film everything, and less than a week to edit and grade the footage. We mixed the audio and added some foley the night before the conference started. Shot the footage on a JVC GY-HD251. You can see the video on the Planetshakers ‘One’ DVD. Already pumped for next years opening!

We organised some extras to come down for the city shoot.. not sure who invited the Wedding party though

December already! Where has the oh-nine gone!
Just designed our first ever staff Christmas card. Was a fun mini project!
Those Deers are hard to work with though.

thankyou water shoot

I recently helped film a new spot for the guys at ‘Thankyou Water.’
Nath Mallon then took over, did a quick edit, grade and added some animations, while Ian Lee mixed out the audio.

Check out the change these guys are making over at thankyouwater.org.
100% of their profit goes directly to fund water projects in developing countries.

Few months ago now, I got the opportunity to go flying over Melbourne in a light aircraft with a few mates Joe and Nath.

‘Captain Joe’, who’s training to become a fully qualified pilot, took us up for a few laps around the city and down along the bay. I brought a little Sony Z1 to get some footage while Nath took some sweet stills › (see below). It was windy that day, which didn’t help with filming but the photos Nath took turned out great! Already used a few in some of my design work. Want to go up again soon, possibly this time for a night flight!
